As a young child I began to take interest in the education field because of the experiences I had with teachers and family members that left a lasting impression on me.
Upon graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Elementary Education, I accepted a teaching position in Florida in hopes of changing the lives of students in the same way teachers had impacted me in my life. After spending 7 years in the classroom teaching 3rd and 5th grade, I began the next step in my current position as an Instructional Coach. I am currently completing my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.
While teaching, I have served as a team leader, Science Department head, STEM lead and have recently been inspired to work with colleagues in the field of STEAM education and bringing lessons to the hands of our teachers and students.
